  • Coaching is a partnership between client and coach that maximizes a person’s potential by collaborating to explore opportunities and identity resources to create an exciting future based on the client’s personal awareness, choice, and action.

  • Coaching honors the client as the expert in their life and assumes the client is a whole, creative, resourceful person who has all the answers inside of themselves. It's the coach’s job to partner with the client through powerful listening and questions in order to help the client draw out those answers and arrive at the truth through their own realizations and β€œah-ha!” moments.

  • Fundamentally, coaching is about moving your goals, plans, and dreams forward and ultimately bridges the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

  • Anyone who is stuck in the gap between β€œwhere I want to be” and β€œwhere I are” can benefit from coaching. Coaching is NOT a replacement from mental health treatment. Instead, coaching is a powerful, transformational tool that can propel you forward towards your goals with more strength, confidence, and momentum than you could accomplish on your own.

  • Coaching is about working in the new to create the type of future you are looking for. Past experiences may come up in coaching, as it can be necessary to launch the client into the future, but healing past wounds is not the main focus. Coaching is about building and strengthening what you already possess. It gives you vision for the future. As a coach, I do not diagnose, nor am I trained to treat people who are struggling with mental illness.
